Qualifications: Certified by ACE, N.A.S.M., and the Physical Mind Institute in the Method Pilates. Former National and World Aerobic Champion.
Personal History: I was a competitive gymnast as a child and a dancer in my teens and early 20's. I took my first aerobics class from Madonna Grimes. She introduced me to fitness and the sport of competitive aerobics - that was 12 years ago, I've been hooked ever since. My husband and I now own Breaththru Fitness, a personal training and Pilates studio in Pasadena, CA. I love helping people reach their goals, whether it is one-on-one or in a group class. We are the proud parents of a seven year-old boy and a five-year-old girl.

A reliable instructor
I had the opportunity to take step classes with Michelle years ago. She was a great instructor: creative without being ridiculously complicated, energetic, focused on proper form and provided excellent cueing. When I moved to the East Coast, I was so happy to discover she was making fitness videos. While early ones may have been a bit stilted, I think the content is always solid. I wish she would make a few more, as I really miss her step classes.

Michelle is the BEST!!
Michelle Dozois has become my very favorite instructor since I purchased her Body BreakThru Your Best Body Circuit workout,possibly the best workout I have ever done. Michelle's cuing is excellent,her workouts are fun without being over the top or silly. She is a true professional! There is simply NO WAY that her BodyBreakThru series,coupled with a sensible,portion controlled eating plan,will not get you into the best shape of your life. I hope more workouts are added to this amazing series! Michelle is a winner!

Michelle is one of the best!
What's not to like about Michelle! She's warm, professional, friendly but not overly perky or chatty, cues well and consistently produces (or appears in) great videos. I have just about every workout she's ever made and just love her style. I'm also really looking forward to her new challenging-looking series, Your Body Breakthrough (3 videos). You can't go wrong with any of Michelle's programs.

I have warmed to Michelle
When I first encountered Michelle she was Michelle Nevidomsky and it was ages ago on Buns of Steel videos. The funny thing is, I didn't care for her much on those videos--I found her annoying and hard to follow. I guess she's grown up since then because now she's one of my favorite instructors--whether it's one of her 10-Minute Solution videos, Dance Off the Inches, Breakthru, or Pick Your Level, so far I like all of her modern stuff. She gives clear and concise cues and is not overly chatty or giggly--fun to work out with.
