Strengthen and tone your entire body using athletic, graceful movements with special attention on challenging your arms, abs, thighs and butt. Get consistent, easy to follow cues which make a huge difference in your results. After warming up, start with an intense standing butt and leg toning section using ballet inspired exercises done with a chair. No dance training, ballet barre or weights are necessary! On the floor, use you own body's weight and a small inflatable ball to shape and define your muscles. Your butt will feel smaller and your abs will feel tighter and your arms will get stronger the very first time you do this workout. The routine is 45 minutes long and is broken down into 6 sections and is shot it outside in Montana "I enjoyed every minute of designing this workout for you and I got in the best shape of my life rehearsing it." Tools you need: ballet or soft slippers, a sturdy chair with no arms and a small 7 " inflatable ball.A blend of ballet, Pilates and traditional toning exercises performed in a spectacular Montana outdoor setting. Qualifications: IDEA Instructor of the Year and Business Person of the Year by IDEA. Certified Group Fitness Leader by ACE. On the Family Advisory Board for ACE and Jump Magazine. An IDEA 5 Star Presenter.
Personal History: My background is in classical ballet, tap dance and yoga. In 1978, I began teaching exercise to dancers and opened the Voight Fitness and Dance Center in 1980. There, I combined my love of dance with my knowledge in exercise instruction. I trained other fitness enthusiasts of all ages and fitness levels. By creating a movement to music approach that transcended all language, I traveled and taught worldwide.
Workout Philosophy: Exercise has always been my best friend. It's there to enjoy on our good days and helps us get through the bad days. I feel that it's important to make peace with our individual body types. Work hard at maintaining a healthy body that's athletic, strong, and attractive.
Success Story: Connie was 50 years old when she lost her husband to cancer. She was lonely and depressed. I convinced her to come to my classes, because it was something she could do by herself in the evenings, instead of sitting home alone. She finally did and began enjoying it, because it helped her sleep better. Five years later, she is still taking my class and has lots of new friends. She looks young, vibrant, and is happier than ever.
